Ok...to be honest...I bought this CD with the recommendation of 2 of my friends without hearing anything on it. Boy...was I surprised. I'll admit that I was judging them too hard when I first heard them... How could this pop group compare to such giants as Avalon, Point of Grace or 4Him? Easy...they just continue doing what they started with their previous release One. Pop music at it's finest. Truth could easily give pop giants Avalon a run for their money!

Now one could easily compare Truth to Avalon. A mixed group, pop style, with non compromising lyrics, not a one vocalist who isn't talented...anyone see the resemblance? But...the one thing that separates these two groups is Truth is very underrated and unknown compared to Avalon. Well it is now Truth's turn.

The album opened with a wallop of a song..."Wonderful World"...this song could easily go #1 on AC stations...I was definitely impressed by them with song and it featured them all...so I got a little taste of everyone. They continue with this great sound with "Out of the Deep", "Through the Noise", and "Say the Word" (the current single that is on at #4 on WOCM's Top 30 Countdown...see link below).

Now Truth isn't just pop...they have an inspirational side to them shown in the songs "Yesterday's News", "Glory of the Blood" and "The Bridge Will Appear"...which still gives me chills every time I hear it! But perhaps the golden nugget on this album has to be "Let Go"...written by Heather Floyd (of Point of Grace) and Marty Maghee (of 4Him)...talk about a great song!

"Let Go/And let God be God/There's no better place to be/Than to let go/And let God be God"

Truth really shows what they are made of on this album!!! Definitely a keeper for me...
